The rows of vineyards bordered with rosebushes, lavender and brooms give to the landscape a unique charm. The Côtes du Rhône wines are to be celebrated beginning with the Côtes du Rhône Villages of Visan and Valréas.
This vineyard is situated in the most Northen part of the Southern Côtes du Rhône. It spreads out on the south and west hillsides of the first foothills of the Prealps, on clayish limestone and rocky soils with a sunny Provençal climate purified by the mistral wind. All together, the latitude, the grounds, the sun and the altitude make the originality of the soil of the Enclave des Papes and consequently good for its own wines. A range of AOC of very high quality is displayed in the cellars divided in the four municipalities of the Enclave.
Across the Enclave is la route Sepia, organized by Inter Rhône (Interprofession of Wines AOC Côtes du Rhône).
